Sandwich, anyone?

Do you miss me? Or miss my post? Ahahah ;D. Well, as my latest facebook status, yes, I’ve been being attacked by blogging and bentoing blues. I didn't make any bentos and was kinda lazy to post many of my ready-to-post bento picts. But if I wanted to bring lunch, sandwiches like these were the only thing that I could come up with. These simply yummy sandwiches were perfect for my lunch that I love to pair them with yogurt or plain milk. Sandwich, anyone?

Yesterday morning when I reorganized my book collection on my bookshelves, I found a craft book about making food miniature from felt fabric that one of foodieblogger friends, Nursaadah (I call her Bunda Nunung) of Cozy Corner, sent to me about a year ago. A year ago? That’s a very long time, eh? So sorry Bunda for my carelessness, I forget to post it for a very long time ^^v. The craft book is written by Bunda Nunung and Mrs. Dewi. Bunda Nunung is a writer of many best-seller recipe books published by some notable Indonesian book publishers. I love her works, and some of my collections of her books are Padupadan Menu Nasi Kotak and Hidangan Soto Khas Jawa Timur.

The craft book’s title is Membuat Miniatur Makanan dari Kain Felt (Food Miniature Creations from Felt Fabric). The thing that makes this craft book is so special to me is that one of this book’s miniature food creations features a bento theme of my bento creation. When Bunda Nunung was on progress doing this book project, she asked my permission to use my bento idea for her craft book. Since Bunda is one of my nicest friends that always supports and encourages me for my love of bento making, and that I just knew that she wouldn’t do something that creates disadvantage for my ideas or creations, of course it’s an honor for me to have one of my bento ideas is featured on her lovely craft book :D. Maybe you still remember about a kitty mouse bento I posted here? Yeah, that’s the bento idea in the book.

The book has so many cute and creative ideas on making food miniature from felt fabric. As the addition, this book offers the patterns for the creations in real sizes printed out separately on paper trace. These are some of my favorites :D

I also found another neglected knitting craft book. I bought this book about a year ago since I wanted to learn knitting again. I really want to put my hands on knitting again, I miss it but I have lost my skill on it T____T. FYI, when I was an elementary student, my grandma taught me knitting and I was really good on it. But as the days went by, I just left it and now I completely forget how to do it. When I get my knitting skill back again, I want to make the creations below. I think they are so great for my bento photo props :D
