Pink Ribbons Bento

I heard the idea about making pink-themed bento as contribution for Breast Cancer Awareness since few days ago actually. But, I couldn't promise myself to join the pink bento frenzy since I'm very busy teaching. Lucky me, as this morning my class was started after nine (not seven :D), I could still manage to make a simple sandwich bento with pink ribbons matched with the theme :D. I actually have some pink-themed bentos, but they don't have any pink ribbon - for me: no pink ribbon means doesn't have the "feel" hehehe. I'm interested to make this pink bento as one of my aunts suffers from breast cancer - but thanks God, she's a survivor and she's doing well today :D. I know I'm late for the event but I've convinced myself that it's never late to share the awareness about this dangerous cancer to all dear friends :D. As I read the bentoist friends' pink bento posts, I'm so surprised to know that some of my dear friends also have aunt(s) who suffers or even gives up for the cancer. I hope that this fact makes us to be more aware with the danger of this cancer and always try to have a healthy live :D.

Simple and quick sandwich with peanut butter (or chocolate jam) and a combination of margarine and white sugar layer is always my favorite :D. I always love to have it for breakfast in a rush morning hehe. The longest process to make this bento was only to boil then color the quail eggs with turmeric powder. The flowers were made from boiled wiener, leaves from boiled snow peas, and pink ribbons from pink-colored egg sheet. As my bento is simple, I tried to make the pict looks merrier by touching it up with Adobe PS CS :D.

Oya, I'm also crazily happy today... A very sweet friend, Miruneena, wrote a very sweet post about my blog on her site. This is the very first time for my blog and it's absolutely a hit for me hehehe, you've made my fly so high because of happiness dear :D. Thanks a lot for what you did and I really appreciate it SOOOO much! It's one of the sweetest things :D. Miruneena posts a lot cuteness in her blog - take a look on her site, hope you'll find some cute inspirations to make bento :D

Note: Halloween Bentos are still in queue! Are you ready for Jack Skellington? :D

Have a wonderful day, my dear pals :D
