This bento is the very first time I put my hands on making sushi :D. It's so simple, I only used beef sausages for the center. I mixed the rice with Serundeng (toasted spiced shredded coconut), then rolled it up with nori by help of Makisu (sushi bamboo mat). I added the sausage sushi with ears and eyes from nori cutouts too. For bento beginners, please don't be hesitate to try this one. You can make it even you don't have any special bento tools or nori punchers. You can cut the nori by hands.
I enjoyed my charaben sushi with hot stir fried shrimps and pea pods. I also added it with the slices of fresh bird eye chilies to make it even hotter hehehe and other miscellaneous seasonings. Yuuuummm.... it's so goood and hot! :D
