Resep sate ini sebenernya pake udang atau ikan tenggiri. Berhubung aku alergi udang dan yang pastinya susah cari ikan tenggiri kalo gak ke pasar, makanya cari gampangnya aja deh, pake daging ayam. Resepnya saya dapat dari buku resep ngrampok paksa dari Bu Lik-ku hehehe, Tabloib Cita Rasa Indonesia jaman kolobendu terbitan tahun 1987, waduh daku baru lahir nih. Bikin Yukk!!!


SAJEN (Sate Ayam Wijen)

Bahan:
250 gr daging ayam (resep asli pake udang/ikan tenggiri), cincang hualuuusss
50 gr kelapa parut
1 butir telur ayam
100 gram wijen
¼ minyak goreng

Bumbu Halus:
3 buah cabai merah (kalo aku tak tambahin cabe rawit diiris-iris biar tambah pedes hehe)
5 bawang merah
2 siung bawang putih
1 jari kunyit
1 ruas jari jahe
1 sdt ketumbar
Garam secukupnya

Cara Membuat:
1. Bumbu halus campur dengan daging ayam cincang, kelapa parut dan telur. Aduk sampai rata.
2. Bagi adonan menjadi 12. Bentuk bulat pipih seperti perkedel lalu lumuri dengan biji wijen sampai rata.
3. Goreng dengan minyak yang panasnya sedang sampai kuning dan bagian dalamnya matang.
4. Tusuki dengan tusukan sate.

O, what a long title. I’m falling in love with this recipe since the first time I met it on an old food magazine given by my aunt. The original recipe uses Spanish mackerel as the main ingredient. But, coz it’s kinda difficult thing finding it around my boarding house, I had to alter it with chicken.



Fried Ground Chicken Meat with Sesame Seeds on Bamboo Skewer


Ingredients:

250 g ground chicken breast
50 g shredded coconut
1 egg, beat
100 g sesame seeds
¼ kg oil

Ground spice:
3 red chilies
5 onions
1 cm turmeric
1 cm fresh ginger
1 tsp coriander
Salt to taste

Methods:
1. Mix ground chicken breast, shredded coconut and egg with ground spice. Mix well.
2. Divide the dough into 12 parts. Make them into oval shape then smear them with sesame seeds.
3. Heat oil on medium heat. Fry them until golden brown.
4. Stick them on bamboo skewers.
